Therapy can be beneficial for anyone looking to improve their mental well-being, navigate life’s challenges, or gain deeper self-awareness. You might consider therapy if you're experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, or simply feel stuck and unsure how to move forward.
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—many people use it as a space for personal growth, emotional support, and developing coping skills. If you're curious but unsure, a consultation can help determine if therapy is the right fit for you and your needs.

Yes, I work with teens and families. However, I do not currently offer therapy for couples. If you're seeking support for you, your family or your child, I would be happy to discuss how we can work together to meet your goals.

Yes, therapy is confidential. What you share during sessions is protected by privacy laws and ethical guidelines. There are a few exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law (e.g., court orders). I will always inform you if there are any situations where confidentiality might be broken. I’m committed to maintaining a safe, confidential space for you.

To book a session, we can start by scheduling a consultation to see if we’re a good match. Once that is confirmed, my billing and scheduling team will assist you with insurance, payment details, and any necessary disclosures. After that, we can schedule your first appointment at a time that works best for you. Feel free to reach out to start the process!

The length of therapy depends on your personal goals and needs. I use a variety of approaches to best support you and I specialize in helping with a range of issues. For more details on therapy types, duration, and areas of focus, please visit the "About Therapy" page.

In your first session, we’ll start by discussing your reasons for seeking therapy, any challenges you're facing, and your goals for our work together. This is a chance for you to ask questions, share your expectations, and get to know my approaches as well. We’ll also review logistics like confidentiality, scheduling, and payment. The session is a space for you to feel heard and supported, and by the end, we’ll outline a plan for moving forward.

I take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. Your personal information is securely stored and protected through encrypted digital systems, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. All sessions are conducted in a private and secure environment. I adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines, only sharing information when required by law (e.g., risk of harm) or with your explicit consent. Your trust is important, and I’m committed to safeguarding your privacy throughout the therapy process. If you have any concerns, feel free to ask about the specific measures in place to protect your information.

If therapy doesn’t feel like it’s working, it’s important to discuss it with your therapist. Sometimes, adjusting goals, trying a different approach, or changing how you engage in sessions can help. If you’re still not feeling a connection, switching therapists might be the right choice. Therapy is a personal journey, and you deserve an approach that works for you.
